A 2% Investment Can Yield High Returns
The cartoon below says it best. We Need To Exercise!

I hope you got a little chuckle out of this cartoon. It's true! Exercising 1 hour a day for 4 to 6 days a week will make a big difference in your life. All I am talking about is a mere 2 to 3% of your week. 2%! Even if you break it down to 30 minutes a day for 6 days you will see many benefits. People who are active live longer and feel better. Exercise can help you maintain a healthy weight. It can delay or prevent diabetes, some cancers and heart problems (just to mention a few). Plus, studies have shown how exercise increases your self-esteem. Once you increase your self-esteem, you feel more confident about yourself in just about all areas of your life. And trust me, people are drawn towards confident people. Besides, we are only here for so many years, we might as well be as healthy as we can so that we can enjoy our life.
When I say exercise, I am not just talking about the traditional weight lifting, running, and exercise classes. I am talking about taking the dog for a walk, gardening, cutting the grass, parking farther away from mall entrances so you have to walk, playing with your kids or grandchildren. All of this is physical activity. Make it fun and you will do it.
If you need more ideas on how to increase your physical activity, let me know. I would be glad to help!!!
