Want to Enjoy Your Workout?

If you are like many people, including my clients and... well I will leave that one alone, you don't really enjoy working out. So if focusing on all of the benefits of exercise (increasing aerobic endurance, increasing bone density, reducing health risk factors, reducing anxiety/depression/stress, etc.) isn't good enough, I have a "Feel Great" idea for you. And the best part is it probably won't cost you any money.

Here it is...
Put together a 60 minute audio CD of your favorite upbeat / feel good (or Feel great) music and play it whenever you exercise. The up tempo beat alone will make your exercise routine go faster and the good vibes you get from listening to your favorite music will make your exercise session more enjoyable. After listening to this awesome CD of yours for several times while you work out, you will now associate the exercise session with these great upbeat feelings. Give it a try, it can't hurt!!!

I actually have a couple of CDs that I put together to listen to. I have one for my weight training workouts (more along the rock side) and one for my cardio workouts (more along the "disco" side - Am I showing my age here?).
