Symbolism

I hope you don't mind me mentioning another learning experience from my vacation to Disney World. Inevitably while in Disney someone will ask you who your favorite character is. When it came to me there was no doubt who I would pick. In fact, before I could say anything someone interjected that it should be Tigger; and they were correct. Why Tigger? Well let's take an in depth look at who Tigger is.

Tigger
Tigger is very confident and undertakes tasks with enthusiasm. Tigger is cheerful, outgoing, competitive in a friendly way, and completely confident in himself. Tigger is always bouncing around, has lots of energy, and is always positive. He seems to perfectly symbolize what I and Feel Great Coaching are all about. In fact, yesterday I used some of this symbolism to help motivate me to work out harder. In the basement, where I work out, there is this little stuffed animal version of Tigger. While I was doing my cardio on the treadmill I looked over at Tigger and it motivated me to give it that one degree of extra effort. In fact, while at Disney I purchased a couple of Tigger items to help keep me motivated.

So I ask you a couple of questions...

1. What cartoon character best represents who you are today?
2. What cartoon character best represents who you want to be?
3. What steps can you take to go from character 1 to character 2?
4. Lastly, is there something symbolic that you could have that would motivate you to be that new character?
