GOALS
Today is January 22nd. It has been 3 weeks since most of us have set our New Years Resolutions/Goals. How are you doing? My hope is that you are still moving in the right direction and are on track with your goals. But what about the group of people who didn't set any goals? You know them, "I don't set New year's Resolutions because I never stick to them." Well I have a few things I would like to share with that group; and it is beneficial for those who have set goals too.
Here is some food for thought by some unknown authors...
What would you try to accomplish if you believed it was impossible to fail?
The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we missed it, but that our aim is too low and we reach it.
Nothing will ever be attained if all possible objections must first be overcome.
Big goals can create a fear of failure. Lack of goals guarantees it.
Goal "setting" is important. Goal "doing" is more important.
You seldom hit anything unless you aim at it.
Shared goals build unity.
All of the above thoughts are powerful messages. Being a coach I particularly like the last one. If you share your goals with someone, you now have someone to help support you and keep you accountable. One final thought on this topic today, "The word GOAL begins with GO." So GO get started on setting and accomplishing your goals.

These are great quotes! Very inspirational! I plan to choose one each week and post it on my bathroom mirror where I'll see it every morning. This will help to put me in the right mindset for the day! Thanks for the great blog!
