Valentine's Day
Today, February 14th, is Valentine's Day. As far as I can tell it is celebrated in North America and Europe. It is a day that lovers and sweethearts express to one another their love for each other through poems, cards, love letters and by giving gifts of chocolates and flowers.
I would like to add one thing to this list. Tell all of the people in your life how much you appreciate them and how grateful you are to have them as family, friends, co-workers, clients, etc. As I have mentioned in a previous post, appreciation and gratitude are just not shared enough. By taking a moment to share this, I believe you can brighten someone's day in a heartbeat.
So to you my readers, I am grateful that you continue to read my blog and I appreciate all of the feedback I get from you.

Thanks Steve! I appreciate your blog and all of your good suggestions! I hope others who read this actually try some of your suggestions. I've found them very helpful in my own life. Especially letting others know how much I appreciate them! The reactions I get from others when I share this are so positive, it makes me feel great! And it's so nice focusing on the positive things about others instead of complaining about the negative! It even helps me to recognize (and appreciate) some of my own positive qualities. It's a win-win strategy!!! Thanks, Steve, for doing what you do!
